Photo Examples

Each portrait is painted directly from the photo provided. It is super important to choose a photo that captures your pet how you see them. I don’t know your pet personally, so a good quality photo helps tremendously when painting your pet! The higher quality the photo is, the more realistic your painting will turn out.

Photos should be:

1) CLEAR - Blurry photos make it very difficult to make the painting accurate and realistic. Good quality is key to a great portrait!

2) CLOSE UP HEADSHOTS - Being able to capture the details of your pets face (eyes, nose, etc.) is what gives a personality to the portrait and makes it more realistic. Photos from the chest up are ideal unless it is a full body portrait.

3) BRIGHT/NATURAL LIGHTING - Photos taken outdoors or in natural lighting are preferred. This helps me capture your pets true colors in the painting. Photos taken in dark lighting or photos with filters will alter the true color of your pets fur.
