Photo Examples

Each portrait is drawn directly from the photo provided. It is super important to choose a photo that captures your pet how you see them. I don’t know your pet personally, so a good quality photo helps tremendously when drawing your pet! The higher quality the photo is, the more realistic your drawing will turn out.

Photos should be:

1) CLEAR - Blurry photos make it very difficult to make the drawing accurate and realistic. Good quality is key to a great portrait!

2) CLOSE UP HEADSHOTS - Being able to capture the details of your pets face (eyes, nose, etc.) is what gives a personality to the portrait and makes it more realistic. Photos from the chest up are ideal unless it is a full body portrait.

3) BRIGHT/NATURAL LIGHTING - Photos taken outdoors or in natural lighting are preferred. This helps me capture all the details and ultimately makes for a more realistic portrait. Photos taken in dark lighting or photos with filters will alter the true shading of your pets fur.
